Tag/Day 0.C auf dem Weg zur/on the way to QUEEN ELIZABETH in Barcelona, Spain

Ein tolles Frühstück erwartet uns am nächsten Morgen. Auch hier wieder am Büffet: Brioche-Fleur aux pralines roses de Lyon. So konnten wir den schönen Abend am nächsten Morgen verlängern. Und die Croissants: himmlisch!!!

Now that a charging station couldn't be reached again, one remained near a Kentucky Fried Chicken for the break. In Germany and the USA, I like to eat it now and then. I no longer dare to go to China since I still don't know which part of the chicken I got back then. But in France: inedible.



Nun nach dem Mal wieder eine Ladesäule nicht angefahren werden konnte, blieb eine in der Nähe eines Kentucky Fried Chicken für die Pause. In Deutschland und in den USA esse ich es zwischendurch ganz gerne mal. In China traue ich mich nicht mehr, nachdem ich bis heute noch nicht weiß, welchen Teil eines Hühnchens ich damals bekommen habe. Aber in Frankreich: ungenießbar.

Auf dem Weg zum Shipspotting in Barcelona, gucken wir uns die Situation am World Trade Center an. Von hier fahren der Cruise Bus (öffentlich - 4,50 EUR Tageskarte - 3,00 EUR Einzelfahrt (2023)), der MSC Shuttle (10,00 EUR hin- und zurück (2023)). Von hier starten auch die HoHo-Busse.



On the way to Shipspotting in Barcelona, we look at the situation at the World Trade Center. The Cruise Bus (public - 4.50 EUR day ticket - 3.00 EUR single trip (2023)) and the MSC Shuttle (10.00 EUR return (2023)) depart from here. The HoHo buses also start from here.

The VALIANT LADY is departing from Terminal S at the World Trade Center. Starting next weekend, no more cruise ships will dock here. We know the ship from our VALIANT LADY 2022 trip.



Noch fährt die VALIANT LADY vom Terminal S am World Trade Center ab. Ab kommendes Wochenende sollen hier ja keine Kreuzfahrtschiffe mehr anlegen. Wir kennen das Schiff von unserer Reise VALIANT LADY 2022.

Hier liegt auch noch die SEA CLOUD.

MSC DIVINA liegt im Hafen. Offensichtlich ist die Wäscherei ausgefallen. Anders können wir uns den Wäscheleine auf dem Balkon wie in Hong Kongs Straßen nicht erklären.

Wir haben dieses Mal im Barcelona Gran Via Plaza Espana. Es wird gerade umgebaut und wird dann als Hotel Indigo Plaza Espana wiedereröffnet. Wir bekommen schon ein renoviertes Zimmer. So mit Blick über den Hof in das gegenüberliegende Zimmer. Das kennen wir von der ALLURE OF THE SEAS 2015. Ist wirklich sehr nett geworden und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir dürfen einen Koffer bis zu unserer MSC WORLD EUROPA Reise hierlassen und Sie erledigen unsere Wäsche, damit wir nicht so viel packen mussten. In der Garage können wir das Auto laden.



This time, we stayed at the Barcelona Gran Via Plaza Espana. It is currently being renovated and will reopen as Hotel Indigo Plaza Espana. We're already getting a renovated room. So, with a view over the courtyard into the opposite room. We know that from ALLURE OF THE SEAS 2015. It was excellent, and the staff was amiable. We are allowed to leave one suitcase here until our MSC WORLD EUROPA trip, and they do our laundry, so we don't have to pack so much. We can charge the car in the garage.

In ten minutes on foot, we are back at the Casa de Tapas Canota, which we know from the REGAL PRINCESS 2022. My colleague from Barcelona recommended it. It's delicious again. As we leave, we also see other specialties and decide to come back, not to eat tapas, but something different.



In zehn Minuten zu Fuß sind wir wieder im Casa de Tapas Canota, das wir von der REGAL PRINCESS 2022 kennen. Es wurde ja von meinem Kollgen aus Barcelona empfohlen. Es ist wieder sehr lecker. Wir sehen beim Herausgehen auch andere Spezialitäten und beschließen wiederzukommen, aber eben dann keine Tapas zu essen, sondern etwas anderes.

Wir laufen zum Hotel zurück. Leider sind die Magic Fountain außer Betrieb: wegen Wasserknappheit.
